Remember Your Calling
This morning I was reminded to remember my own calling. Life has been very busy lately between my family, career and volunteerism. There’s always a time conflict, an over exertion of energy (that a cup of coffee just does more damage than good),and disappointed people. After reading my dear sister Karen Tubbs blogs about her work in Cambodia, I was reminded very so gently (as the Spirit often does with me) to remember my specific call and purpose in this world. For me, it’s not to just fill up a calendar date and be known for the one who helps out. No. It’s to touch lives in the way only I can touch lives. In this New Beginning month of August, I am never to forget the reason I live, move, and have my being. Shalom.
